Dr. Sid Unruh grew up in Dodge City, Kansas. I accepted a scholarship to play baseball for Dodge City Community College. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree, I went on to graduate school at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. In 1999, I received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree with the Cum Laude honor distinction. I have completed hundreds of hours in post graduate studies to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and in Acupuncture. I have a great passion for chiropractic and wellness and I pride myself on treating every patient individually and not doing the same cookbook recipe care system that many offices have patients do no matter the patient's condition. Your individual injury and the speed at which you heal designates your need for care. I schedule patients visit by visit on how they are doing and not just multiple visits just because you walked into my office. Many offices schedule you for dozens of visit no matter how small of a condition you have without ever seeing how your individual body responds to care. This is not how I believe it should be. Some individuals have acute conditions that stabilize very quickly, and others have long standing chronic conditions that take more care.
Dr. Sid Unruh is a family man with his wife Shannon and three children Kinley, Traegan and Daxton. I have a lot of extended family all over the state of Kansas. I believe that surrounding yourself with family and friends are a large part of one's emotional well-being.
